A gentle reminder for anyone who needs it today 🌿

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stretched thin, or bogged down by other people's stress, I wanted to share a quick framework from psychologist Alfred Adler called the "Separation of Tasks."
Â
When you feel tension rising in a relationship or situation, try running it through these 3 steps:
Â
✨ Map your boundaries: Remind yourself what actually belongs to you. You own your words, actions, and effort. You do not own how someone else chooses to react.
Â
✨ Look at the outcome: Ask yourself: "Who ultimately bears the consequences of this decision?" If the consequence belongs to someone else, it is their path to walk—not yours to fix.
Â
✨ Lighten your load: Do your best with your own responsibilities, and let go of the rest.
Â
This isn't about being cold, indifferent, or distant. It’s about having the clarity to love, empower, and support people without taking over their life lessons.
Â
Hope this gives you a little extra breathing room this week! ❤️
